Our directorate serves citizens residing in the municipalities of:

  1. Northern Sector: Penteli, Kifissia-Nea Erythraia, Metamorphosis, Lykovrysi-Pefki, Amaroussion, Filothei-Psychiko, Papagou-Cholargos, Heraklion, Nea Ionia, Vrilissia, Agia Paraskevi, Chalandri, and
  2. Eastern Attica: Oropos, Marathon, Rafina-Pikermi, Dionysos, Acharnes, Pallini, Paiania, Spata-Artemida, Krioneri, Markopoulo Mesogeias, Lavreotiki, Saronikos, Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni.

-To schedule an appointment (for initial issuance of Special Certificate of Legal Residence and collection of decisions, except for electronic ones) or information on requests, please contact dam_anat_info@attica.gr, providing your details and passport number. In case of representation (by spouse, parent, adult child, or lawyer, according to regulations), a relevant authorization or power of attorney should be attached.

Applications for initial issuance or renewal of residence permits are submitted online on the website: https://applications.migration.gov.gr/metanasteusi/

The third-country national, upon the successful submission of the application for the electronic renewal of their residence permit, receives a document at the e-mail address they have declared. This document holds the position of a certification as referred to in paragraph 4 of article 9 of law 4251/2014 (“Blue Certificate”). It is noted that, pursuant to the aforementioned certification and for the duration of its validity, the holder therof legally resides in the country and enjoys all rights deriving from the residence permit they are applying to renew, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 5 of article 9 of law 4251/2014. This certification ceases to be valid automatically if a decision to grant the residence permit or a decision to reject the application is issued.

– To collect a residence permit, you must schedule an appointment at the link: https://applications.migration.gov.gr/ On the date of your appointment, you should have the following with you:

  • Original valid passport (Excluding Permanent Investors and their family members, as well as individuals deprived of a passport, designated as passportless by our service)
  • Previous Residence Permit (standalone), if available, for return and destruction.
  • Certificate of Deposit (Original Blue Certificate), if available for return and cancellation.
  • In case of collection by a third party (only lawyers and 1st degree relatives – parents, children, spouses): Authorization – Power of Attorney (Original authorization with a signature duly certified by a Public Authority or a notarized copy of a power of attorney stating the explicit instruction for the collection of the Residence Permit
