3.1.4 Spouse of a Third-Country National – Legalization due to the birth of a child in Greece until 09/07/2015 (Article 8, paragraph 46 – Law 4332/2015) – Issuance

Duration: 2 years

  1. Photocopy of a valid passport or other travel document recognized by our country, as well as Certified photocopies of all pages of the passports covering the period from the birth of the child.
  2. Electronic fee of 150 Euros (fee code 2107)
  3. Birth certificate of the child/children born in Greece until the commencement date of Law 4332/15, i.e., 9/07/2015.

(In case of a recognition of a child, this should have taken place before the aforementioned date)

  1. Recent certificate of family status issued by foreign authorities, officially certified and translated, indicating the family relationship.
  2. Insurance coverage similar to that of the sponsor.
  3. Proof that the sponsor resides in the country after the birth of the child/children.
  4. Certified copy of the sponsor’s valid residence permit, of a duration of at least two years.
  5. Documents required for the issuance of the card:
    • Four (4) recent, colored, passport-sized photos(40x60mm without a frame/high resolution/on a white background/neutral face expression, etc.), submitted also in digital form on an optical storage disk (CD) in JPEG 2000 format.
    • Card fee of 16 Euros covering the printing of the separate document (electronic residence permit) (e-Paravolo / fee code 2119).
    • Official public document from the country of birth or origin, officially certified and translated, clearly stating the place of birth. The translation must also indicate the place of birth in Latin characters.(To be provided only if the passport does not show the place of birth in Latin characters)
