Most procedures concerning Third-Country Nationals (TCNs) are carried out remotely, electronically or by sending registered correspondence via ELTA or courier services by the applicants themselves or their authorized lawyers or first-degree relatives, as provided by the Μigration Code.
OPERATION OF THE DIRECTORATES OF ALLIENS AND MIGRATION OF THE DECENTRALIZED ADMINISTRATION OF ATTICA (DAMs)
- The DAMs serve scheduled appointments for the delivery of residence permits and/or decisions from Monday to Thursday between 9:00–14:00. TCNs, as well as persons authorized according to applicable provisions for collection to collect such documents, must prove their identity and capacity to the employee responsible for verification and the security staff of the premises. Especially lawyers must present a valid Bar Association ID card or, if unavailable, a relevant certification.
- In emergency cases (e.g. extreme weather phenomena, public transport strikes), if the schedule is adjusted, a relevant announcement is posted on the website apdattikis.gov.gr.
- Applications for the issuance and renewal of residence permits, administrative remedy applications, and supplementary applications are submitted through the following platform:https://portal.immigration.gov.gr/electronic-applications/index

For additional information, questions, and urgent communication, the DAMs provide detailed email addresses on
apdattikis.gov.gr in order to facilitate communication with TCNs and authorized lawyers.- For urgent communication and particularly complex cases requiring in-person communication, TCNs and authorized lawyers may contact the points designated by the DAMs (service counters or competent officers), where the issue will be assessed and handled.
This service is available from Monday to Thursday 10:00–13:00 in all DAMs. - During the same days and hours, in-person communication with Control Departments is possible exclusively for matters relating to Invitations/Transfers for Employment purposes.
- For urgent communication and particularly complex cases requiring in-person communication, TCNs and authorized lawyers may contact the points designated by the DAMs (service counters or competent officers), where the issue will be assessed and handled.
- The DAMs are not responsible for resolving technical issues (e.g. password recovery) related to the electronic application system.
